Plastic casting sprues
Ttip covered with sticky wax, thickness of sharf 1.8mm, with reservoir shaft. (Sizes: 3mm, 4mm, 7mm. 100 pieces.)

Wax casting sprues
Classical form, with reservoir shaft, thickness of shaft 3mm. (Sizes: 6.5mm, 8.0mm. Both 200 pieces.)

Casting pears by DTM Thiel
THe pear is the ideal form to develop a heat centre. Adequate, consistent cooling-off, longer liquid metal reservoir and certain re-sucking of molten metal until the final solidification. The pear is fixed directly onto the casting object. The narrow pass between casting object and molten metal reservoir, which solidifies too early when using the classical form of casting sprues, does not longer exist. The result are less shrinking cavities and porosities. The casting result can additionally be improved if the cast is limited to the pear and object. (Sizes: 5mm, 6mm, 7mm, 8mm, 9mm, all in 100 pieces.)
